The Chick: Very sweet, very bubbly, has her moments where she sheds tears. Has mentioned that she's proud of it on one occasion. Bare Your Midriff: Julie has bared her belly up to Mechtanium Surge. Tomboy and Girly Girl: Though she does have a girly streak of her own, Runo is the tomboy to both Alice and Julie's girly girl. The thighs of her legs attract the attention of the audience. The Bus Came Back: In the final season. 
Technically, Runo does return in New Vestroia but is kept on earth by Deus ex Machina, just like Alice and Julie. Official Couple: With Dan from the ending of Season 1 onward. Nice Hat: Wears one in the season one finale for her date with Dan. She dresses a midriff shirt, plus a miniskirt, exposing most of her body. Magic Skirt: No matter how much it flutters nothing is shown. Light 'em Up: Runo's Bakugan, including Tigrerra. The Lancer: Backs up Dan as co-lancer with Shun. She's bossy to an insane degree and argumentative, but when it comes down to it, she's loyal to her friends and Tigrerra. Hair-Trigger Temper: It does not take a lot to get her mad, as even minor provocations will send her into a fuming rage. Green-Eyed Monster: Becomes jealous of Alice when she starts working at the restaurant, and later shows immense anger at Julie for not doing her job. Girlish Pigtails: Runo's default hairstyle. Forgotten Childhood Friend: She and Dan had a meeting with each other as kids once, but it was buried in their memories as they grew older. Fingerless Gloves: Runo in Battle Brawlers. Demoted to Extra: From the second season and onwards, she plays far less of a vital role than she does in the first. Cannot Spit It Out: Towards Dan in Season 1. Clingy Jealous Girl: If she sees another girl seemingly flirt with Dan, she becomes incredibly jealous and angry. Breaking the Fourth Wall: In episode 25, complete with an Aside Glance to the audience. 
They aren't blood-related, but Runo looks up to her and takes it the hardest when Alice is revealed to be Masquerade.
